IDP/CIDP

Path to licensure... AIA San Diego can help!

Start your path to licensure by enrolling in the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards’ (NCARB) Intern Development Program (IDP) and the Comprehensive Intern Development Program (CIDP). The California Architects Board requires that, prior to licensure, new candidates complete both. Your AIA San Diego Young Architects Commission has a task force that is available to help! Contact AIA San Diego or check out the following links for additional information:

AIA San Diego can help you earn IDP credits!!! IDP requires 10 units, or 80 hours, of Professional and Community Service. Volunteer for an AIA San Diego committee and start earning those credits!!! Each hour of AIA approved continuing education earns two hours of IDP credit (one AIA Learning Unit Hour earns 0.25 IDP Training Units. Check out AIA San Diego’s Lunchtime Learning Seminars for (double-credit earning) opportunities. Note: An AIA transcript must accompany your IDP training reports documenting completion of AIA-approved resources.
