AIASD Highlights:
Get involved!
The following are a variety of ways that you can get involved at AIA San Diego, AIA California Council, or at the national level of AIA.
AIA SAN DIEGO:
Are you an unemployed or partially employed architect looking for some extra income? Would you consider yourself to be a subject matter expert on any of the following four topics:
- Structural Systems,
- Building Design & Construction Systems,
- Building Systems, and
- Site Planning and Design.
If you've answered yes to BOTH of the above questions, then AIA San Diego has an idea, a plan, an opportunity that we'd like to discuss with you.
Please join us at the AIA San Diego office for an afternoon ice-cream social to hear the concept that we've brainstormed, provide your feedback to us, and determine if it is an opportunity that you'd like to consider for yourself.
Our goal? Helping our Associate members get licensed while at the same time generating some non-dues income for the chapter while at the same time helping our Architect members who are out of work and seeking income identify alternative career opportunities. What's in it for you? The opportunity to get in on a new program at the ground floor, maybe present at the National Convention, and create an income stream for yourself!
Please join us at the AIA San Diego chapter office on Friday, September 4th from 2:30pm-3:30pm to participate in this discussion. We'll have a variety of ice cream treats available to get the sugar (and creativity!) flowing! We would love it if you could RSVP to Info@AIASanDiego.org so we have an idea how many curious, entrepreneurial souls will be in attendance!
