How do we get more architects involved in the community? There are so many community groups that try to regulate design and it seems like hardly any architects sit on these groups.

Hey I have Mission Beach covered. I am a member of the Town Council and very involved in neighborhood "quality of life" challenges / projects, including the planned hotel and related development of the Belmont Park, neighborhood lighting, boardwalk enhancements, crime and blight issues, etc.

Any person who goes to MB will see the results of our efforts - volunteer instigated.

I'd like to become more involved in our AIA Chapter "community." I'd like to review the chapter bylaws. Where are these bylaws posted?

How does one become a "voting member" of the UDC, or of any committee?
