San Diego is offering an afternoon ofhands-on DIY (Do-It-Yourself) and DIT (Do-It-Together) activities for elementary and middle school age children as part of San Diego’s Archtoberfest, a month-long programof public events and activities all about architecture, design, planning andsustainability. Kids will rotate through several different stations, creating cities out of tiny “found objects” and stray toys, making models out of recycled trash, and building geodesic spheres out of toothpicks and gumdrops.
