Emerging Professionals Commission presents…

How to Pass the ARE: Site Planning & Design

This workshop is intended to give each participant a high level of test-taking confidence through exposure to and familiarity with the major learning areas that must be mastered to successfully pass the site planning and design section of the ARE. The workshop proposes strategies that help each attendee solidify his/her intention to take the exam in a timely manner, while highlighting memory retention and personal focus as key factors. Along with these strategies, the session will feature a broad, yet in-depth discussion of the required content areas. Test-taking strategies that help mental processing of vignette and multiple-choice style questions will also be addressed. The workshop utilizes primary study material as suggested by NCARB, as well as established study material.
