How does a general contractor manage the design process in a design-build project? What does the contractor expect from the design team? What does the design team expect from the contractor? These questions will be answered during this program, and allow for open discussion with other viewpoints and experiences from the audience.
Workshop will be led by David C. Jesme, DBIA Professional

Dave Jesme is a thirty year veteran in the construction industry and has been a DBIA Design Build Professional since 2007. He has completed over $300 million in Design Build projects including corporate campuses, manufacturing, parking structures, K-12 and higher education, hospitality, and healthcare markets for clients such as UCSD, Sharp Rees-Stealy, Sony, and Marriott.

Dave has a wealth of construction management and design-build knowledge and experience, having served in every key role of a building construction project team, including Project Engineer, Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Executive, Estimator, Preconstruction Manager, and Vice President.

Prior to Dave’s current executive position at Rudolph and Sletten, he was Vice President of Preconstruction for Sundt Construction.
