The San Diego Excellence in Energy (SANDEE) Awards celebrates outstanding projects and activities that have achieved significant energy efficiency or energy conservation savings, implemented renewable energy and reduced CO2 emissions in San Diego County.We encourage you to nominate your building projects, your company or your colleagues for this recognition of their sustainable energy practices.

Add your name to an illustrious list of past winners such as QUALCOMM, University of California San Diego, San Diego Zoo, Kyocera and the San Diego Convention Center.

The SANDEE Awards recognize participants in the following categories:

• Outstanding Organizational Achievement (business, nonprofit, government or organization) 
• Outstanding Individual Achievement
• Special Achievement in Energy by a Medium to Large Business (more than 50 employees)
• Special Achievement in Energy by a Small Business (50 and fewer employees)
• Special Achievement in Energy by a Government or Institutional Agency (local, state and federal)
•  Special Achievement in Energy by a Nonprofit
• Special Achievement in Transportation (personal, fleets and mass transit)
• Special Achievement in Education (energy education programs)
• Special Achievement in Energy by a HomeownerA panel of energy experts and industry leaders will serve on the selection committee.

SANDEE Award winners will be recognized at a reception to be held March 25, 2010.
