Committees of AIA San Diego

There are a number of online resources available to AIA San Diego committees. These tools and resources are provided to help committees manage themselves in a thorough, efficient, and consistent manner. This area of the website will be updated regularly to ensure committees can best serve our valued AIA San Diego membership!

  • Committee Meeting Sign-In Sheet. Click here to download.
  • AIASD Website: AIA San Diego has created dedicated committee pages on the website to enable committees to update committee information and post events on our chapters calendar. Click here to login to your committee page (user name and passwords are distributed by committee chairs/commissioners). Website step-by-step instructions are available HERE to navigate and make updates to your page.
  • Tools for Marketing Events and Programs: Committees are encouraged to take advantage of the marketing and communication tools that the chapter has in place to reach our members. Click here to get the complete list on the Marketing Events page.
  • Email account: Each committee, commission, program and event may have an email account set up by AIA San Diego staff. To learn more on signing in and access, click here.
  • Correspondence: AIA San Diego has guidelines for how letters, correspondence, etc. are disseminated. To learn how to format a letter, please click here. For a visual represenation of a formatted letter, click here.
  • Upload photos on our Kodak Gallery page: Show off your event pics by uploading them to our online gallery and then include the album link on your committee event page. To obtain login passwords, email your name, the event name and the committee you're on to Programs@AIASanDiego and we'll get it back to you within 48 hours.
  • Budgeting and financial matters for committees: For information on how to have a check cut or a bill paid, please click here. 
  • Sponsorship (cash and in-kind): AIA San Diego has a unique sponsorship and fundraising strategy for our chapter.   • Board of Directors dialogue:  Committees are encourage to dialogue with the Board of Directors -- via the Commissioner overseeing the committee.  Two tools are available for Board dialogue (in an effort for effective, consistent information and decision-making).  These tools are the Decision Point Paper and the Information Point Paper.  The former is utilized for those times when a decision is being asked of the Board; the latter is for information purposes only -- just to keep the Board in the loop and apprised of a topic or issue, until such time as a decision may need to be rendered.
