The Minutes of AIA San Diego

Minutes are legal records that document actions and approve organizational decisions made by the Board of Directors throughout the year.  A key facet of minutes is transparency.  Everything that the Board of Directors does is on behalf of the organization and the full membership.  The Baord must ensure that those others are fully informed of decisions made and steps taken. 

At AIA San Diego, the minutes are taken at each Board meeting.  At the subsequent meeting of the Board, the DRAFT minutes from the prior month are reviewed and then approved, with any edits or changes noted.  At that time, they minutes are then FINAL.

Beginning in 2010, AIA San Diego began featuring the monthly minutes on the chapter's website calendar.  Minutes prior to 2010 are located, hard copy, at the AIA San Diego office.  As time permits, staff intends to scan and upload previous years' minutes to the website.
