Position statements let others know our opinions and our proposed solutions.

AIA San Diego believes it has an obligation to take a leadership role in advocating for both the citizenry of the region as well as for the community of architecture and design professionals. To that end, the chapter has taken several positions on a variety of issues – ranging from specific projects in San Diego to issues affecting the profession directly. Below you will find a list of the chapter’s current position statements. AIA San Diego encourages you to participate in the dialogue on these issues by either contributing your individual statement or by joining one of the committees or task forces that research, draft, and present the position statements to the AIA San Diego Board of Directors for adoption.
